Lessons Learned from Managing a Personal Stock Portfolio

This report is vent to talk about any aspect of the stock grocery store game that I late finished reach off the groundicipating in with this Intro to Business class. It all in allow state the technical and dismal times I go through doing this project, my most and least undefeated trades, the challenge and easy activities that went along with this project, improvements, and most importantly, what I healthy-educated from taking part in this game.\n\nFirst of all, I would the like to talk about the good trades, the bad trades, and the trades that were just a waste of making.\n\nThe greater part of my stock portfolio was made up of technology stocks, which actually, I grief now. The majority of these stocks went way brush up towards the end of the game, including Microsoft Corp., AOL Time Warner, and hayseed Inc. This surprise me, because I believed that these stocks would do the best.\n\nAnother group of stocks that didnt do really well for me are the goods-selling co mpanies, including Costco Wholesale, Home reposition Inc. Safeway Inc., and Wal-Mart Stores.\n\nOn the other hand, my consumer-good geek stocks did the best overall. They provided me with a clean good profit. One vitrine is Coca Cola Co. which gave me a 21% invest of return. I think thats attractive darn good!\n\nThe champion stock that I am definitely glad I invested in is Sony Corp. I invested in this stock mainly because it had a steady stock chart, and I figured it would give me a fairly reasonable profit, except boy was I surprised when I found that at the end of the game, I had an 18% profit. This was actually just a fortunate trade I made, and the fact that I didnt sell it when it went down a little bit helped kind of a bit Pixar is other example of a lucky trade, which provided me with a 24% rate of return!\n\nThere were a few stocks that were just a waste of investing in, because they didnt provide me with neither a high gain, nor loss. An example of this would b e Quicksilver, which I held on to for nearly eight days, and in all that time, gave me a five penny profit!\n\nThe most challenging part of this project was in all likelihood all the research that had to be done.
